You can build it yourself without a consultant.

Imagine you are preparing a bid and the clock is ticking.

You can create an AI bid-response tool yourself for less than $100, in about 10 minutes, without spending a dime on consulting fees.

AI is simply a tool, like any other. You could manage without it. Having it can ease the workload.

The question is the machine that fits the job.

The real question is not whether a LiuGong922 is better than a CAT336. Of course it is not. The question is what you need to get the job done on time while making as nice a profit as possible. Most times, it is something in between.

Here is how to set up an AI Bid Response Tool on your own.

Create a Gemini Notebook account.

Visit the Gemini website and sign up with your email and a password. Once you confirm your email, you have a digital workspace ready to store bid responses.

Upload previous responses and label them clearly.

Collect your old bid responses and label them clearly — something like “RFP: Jones Construction-#6453902.” That way you can find what you need later.

Copy and paste the responses into the notebook. Consider organizing them into folders for quick access.

Upload the new bid package.

When a new bid package comes in, upload it to your Gemini Notebook. Click “Upload” and select the file, whether it is a PDF or a Word document.

The system will analyze the content and help generate a response based on your previous submissions.

Prompt the notebook for a draft.

Input a prompt like: “Please generate a bid response based on my previous submissions and the new bid package I just uploaded.”

Choose the output format — Word document or PDF — based on your needs.

The result is an 80-to-90-percent draft, not a finished bid.

In a few minutes you have a draft that is 80% to 90% complete. Instead of spending 80 hours crafting a response, you need about an hour for review and adjustments.

That saves time and cuts cost. You do not need expensive tools or consultants. You can spend the time on the work that actually wins the bid.

The next useful step.

If you would like help setting it up, we are here. If you would like to pay us to watch you set it up in 10 minutes, we are good with that too.
